Ayman M. El-Khashab, PhD, PE
6104 Colina Lane • Austin, Texas 78759 • (512) 633-5573
Education
- PhD, Electrical Engineering 2003, The University of Texas at Austin
Dissertation: The Modular Pipelined Fast Fourier Transform -- Developed and simulated a new pipeline hardware algorithm and architecture for computing fast Fourier transforms. The architecture is suitable for FPGA and VLSI systems. Numerical and noise analysis as well as hardware and time complexity were analyzed. When compared to a conventional pipeline FFT, the modular architecture substantially reduced the power required while maintaining the same data throughput. Patent Pending.
- MS, Electrical Engineering 1998, The University of Texas at Austin
